Storeshot API credits

Each generation (POST /v1/generations) costs 1 credit, charged when it is created. A generation that fails, or that you cancel before it starts, is refunded automatically.

New accounts get 4 trial credits when they create their first API key.

Test keys (ss_test_…) are free: they return a sample image of the exact requested size and never use credits.

Check your balance with GET /v1/credits and your usage with GET /v1/usage.

Getting more credits

Buy credit packs for the API: list them with GET /v1/billing/packs, then start a hosted checkout with POST /v1/billing/checkout (a live key with the billing:write scope, or an access token) and open its url. Purchased credits never expire and are added once the payment succeeds; taxes are applied at checkout. Questions: [email protected].

Plans

Monthly plans: list them with GET /v1/billing/plans and subscribe with POST /v1/billing/subscription/checkout. Each paid month sets your subscription credits to the plan amount; unused subscription credits do not roll over and expire when the plan renews (or ends). Generations use subscription credits first, then trial credits, then purchased credits, which never expire. Plans also raise your rate and concurrency limits. Change, cancel or manage the payment method with POST /v1/billing/subscription/change, POST /v1/billing/subscription/cancel and POST /v1/billing/portal.
